Intro to
Screenprinting

Master the foundational steps of fine art screenprinting over two full evenings. In this elective you will learn how to coat, expose, and print. On the first night, you will dive into the darkroom to prepare screens for exposure, learn to prep designs, and even get to printing our first color. Night two will focus heavily on printing and registration in a unique printing method that allows for each print to stand on its own. This deep-dive format gives you the essential unhurried time needed for darkroom prep and allows you to bring a simple 2-color design from home to print on provided test paper or your own blank t-shirts, tote bags, and posters. Screenprinting is one of the most versatile forms of printing that can range from fine art to DIY tees and totes.

NOTE: Electives are available only for participants currently enrolled in one of the main workshops. The cost for the two night screenprinting class is $300. You can purchase all electives offered as a cost saving bundle for $500. Participants will be given instructions on how to purchase after reserving their spot with a full payment to a main workshop.
