Multiblock Linoleum Printing Techniques

This course is about exploration of printmaking techniques and how their strengths and limitations can inform your artwork. By focusing on the practicalities of our craft, we’ll move a single project through multiple steps, using the tactile processes of printmaking to guide our creative choices. We will cover how to form an initial sketch of your composition, the methods of transferring and registering multiple linoleum blocks, and how to utilize color, gradients, and overlap to fully develop your concept. We’ll also work to develop our personal creative philosophies and gain a better understanding of how design, craft, and the process of discovery directs our art.

NOTE: The registration link will send you to a Google Form to fill out some contact information for our records. A confirmation page will include a link to a Paypal payment page to complete your registration, but you do not need a Paypal account to purchase. You will be given the option to use Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay, or to manually enter a debit or credit card of your choosing.
